For the week of July 27th – August 2nd, across the City of Philadelphia, there were: 12 documented shooting incidents, 13 documented shooting victims, and 4 documented shooting fatalities. This represents a 3-incident, 4-victim, and 4-fatality increase from the previous week.This week saw a return to more familiar patterns of violence following an early summer surge in shootings and the previous week’s low victimization rates and absence of fatal or multi-victim shootings.
